Our Green Story
Each year ECORE recycles 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber, helping to conserve more than one million barrels of oil in the process to convert pliable treads into durable products for the construction, consumer, commercial, sports and leisure, industrial, and automotive markets.
ECORE’s rubber products are manufactured with post-consumer recycled rubber tires salvaged from America’s junkyards and landfills. The tires are ground into clean rubber granules, triple distilled to eliminate any metal, dirt, or fibers, and bound together using a water-based polyurethane polymer. ECORE also produces a wide variety of cork products for industrial markets. We are the only full-line U.S. manufacturer of cork and cork/rubber - products manufactured from rapidly renewable and harvested resources to ensure the highest quality sustainable composition. Our conscious raw material selections and production processes result in a diverse portfolio of durable and environmentally supportive product solutions for a broad variety of applications.
ECORE’s corporate tradition is rooted in doing what’s right long-term for the environment, while at the same time striving in all of our business to exceed customer expectations and make their experience with the organization and portfolio of brands a positive one.
ECORE is committed to improving lives, now and for generations to come.
