ECORE International was founded in 1989 and is located in Lancaster, PA. In all of its operations, ECORE International is committed to using resources wisely to protect the environment. As a part of that commitment, we are the largest user of scrap tire rubber in the U.S.A., converting over 80 million pounds of tires into recycled rubber products each year.
Our rubber recycling capabilities include grinding, screening, and the removal of stone, wood, paper, fluff, fiber, and other materials from scrap tire rubber. These capabilities allow us to produce exacting specifications that meet or exceed our customers internal, external, and ASTM specifications. With our state of the art equipment, experienced staff, and 100 million pound capacity, we are uniquely capable of producing the cleanest, most consistent, and highest quality material available in the market place.
As the only full-line manufacturer of cork and cork/rubber in the United States, ECORE has established national leadership in the industrial and automotive industries. We are the only company that can certify cork/rubber material to Military specification MIL C 6183 B and composition cork material to the U.S. Federal specification HHC-576b. Our materials are manufactured with rapidly renewable and harvested resources to ensure the highest quality sustainable composition to match specifications for the aerospace, automotive, gasketing, glass, and transformer industries.
At ECORE, our vertically integrated manufacturing system gives us complete control over our own carefully created raw materials, ensuring reliable feed stock and allowing us to be our own primary material component supplier. This state-of-the-art manufacturing, combined with the company's quality assurance and rapid logistics responsiveness, has made ECORE a leading supplier of cork, cork/rubber, and rubber product solutions for over 90 years.
